He also attended the School of Automotive Machinists, in Houston for high performance engine building, which gave him the unique opportunity to become part of an American Le Mans race team based out of Virginia. CAMPAIGN PLATFORMS
PLATFORM
Government Corruption or the absence of law and order. The SCOTUS currently acts more like a political activism group than the Supreme Court of the country. The DOJ and FBI are equally to blame for irregular enforcement of civil and criminal laws in addition to absurd litigation against disclosure of information under the FOIA. A serious discussion must take place on limiting absolute immunity.
Privacy the NDAA authorized warrantless surveillance of US citizens must be reduced significantly.
States Rights-without the states the federal government would not exist. States are all separate entities and should be able to set their own policy, without the temptation of strings-attached federal funding or burdensome regulation. The tenth amendment secures this authority.
Inflation-another tax on the citizens from unrestricted spendthrifts, inflation is the death of a countries economy. We must immediately take bold and decisive action to limit and reverse this economic plague by imposing significant decreases in government spending. A legitimate balanced budget priority has been off the table for far too long, and it’s simply unaffordable.
Free Trade-North Dakotans should not suffer lower commodity prices from other countries dumping their commodities on our premium markets, nor should other countries be able to market tainted beef right next to premium USA beef.
Open Borders-good fences make good neighbors. Perhaps now that illegals are being shipped to DC from Texas, Democrats will change their policy. ND needs representation willing to take such bold action.
Transparency-the people have a right to know what their government is up to, without being forced into years of litigation in order to receive this information. If the government is not conducting questionably legal conduct, what is there to hide?
Pro Life-without the political doublespeak of turning around and funding planned parenthood.
Right to Bear Arms-shall not be infringed is very simple. Despite the strict fetters placed on government, the government is still whittling away at our rights. I am concerned about how U.S. Military weaponry is sent overseas whimsically and without oversight while removing from law abiding citizens: bump stocks, pistol braces, polymer 80 buy, build, shoot kits or the ability of, without resale, the ability to build rifles without serial numbers. Tax stamps on both, SBR’s and suppressors should be eliminated.
